What's the easiest way to start the wood stove?
With pellets or hardwood and a natural fire starter. Our fire chamber is designed to ignite quickly and effortlessly thanks to optimal air supply, ensuring the wood burns evenly and consistently – a no-brainer.
How do I control the heat in the wood stove?
You essentially control the oven temperature via the pellet loading flap: more wood for more heat, less for lower temperatures. This is a matter of experience – after two or three baking sessions, you'll have a good feel for it, no worries.
How does the rotating pizza stone work?
An integrated motor continuously rotates the stone, ensuring evenly baked pizza without the need for manual turning. The motor is powered by 4 × AA batteries (not included). Insert batteries, start your pizza, and let the oven do the work.
Is the oven suitable for the balcony?
It depends on your neighbors, the house rules, and the size of your balcony. Wood-fired and pellet pizza ovens are usually difficult to use on a balcony because they produce smoke, sparks, and open flames. Furthermore, the necessary safety distance from walls, railings, awnings, and furniture is often difficult to maintain. However, in principle, it is possible.
Does the oven need to be assembled?
No. All Burngiorno ovens are delivered fully assembled. Unpack, plug in, and start baking – true plug-and-play performance.
Does the oven need maintenance?
Minimal. For gas models, keep the burners clear; for wood-burning stoves, remove the ashes after use.
How do I clean the pizza stone?
Simply allow the oven to heat up naturally to burn off any residue. The pizza stone can be easily removed for cleaning. Do not use detergent – once cooled, simply brush off any ash or debris.
How hot does the outside get?
Hot – like any high-temperature oven. Always handle with care and allow to cool completely before moving. Treat it like a gas grill.
Can the oven be used indoors?
Absolutely not! Burngiorno ovens are exclusively designed for outdoor use – there is a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning indoors.
